You obviously are not out there trying to make yourself gain additional weight. However, this is exactly what you are doing if you are taking part in any diet that has you losing more than a couple pounds a week. When you lose weight too quickly, your body essentially goes into starvation mode. When you start to eat regularly again, your body will store all of the fat, causing you to not just put the lost weight back on, but additional weight on top of that. If this is not something that you are going to want to experience, then you need to stick with healthy diets only.
