Hagrid’s New Mission
Hagrid, the loyal grounds keeper at The Hogwarts School is a rather large and burly fellow. He is as sweet as pie, but everybody knows that he could stand to lose a few pounds. Of course we cannot forget that part of the reason why Hagrid is so burly and overweight is that his mother is a giant. If only the rest of us had that kind of excuse as to why we are overweight! Well the good news is that Hagrid is on a new mission. He is on a mission to lose weight and you can join him. All you have to do is say, “Yes” and the mission can begin!
We all know that Hagrid is not allowed to do magic except with special permission from Dumbledor which means that he’s going to have to lose his weight the old fashioned way. No tricks allowed. So what all does the “old fashioned” way entail. First, Hagrid is going to begin by changing his diet. Salads, lean meats, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and oats are all getting added to the diet. These foods get digested quickly and easily with no problems and promote healthy weight loss. Potatoes, rice, pasta, heavy breads, and sugar are all getting removed from the diet. These foods quickly help to stack on the pounds, which is something Hagrid definitely wants to avoid. No more strange drinks either comind out of stemuy cauldrons! Water will be the drink of choice for Hagrid and for those who are following his diet as well. Eating in the late night hours will not be allowed, and three hours before bedtime will be the last time anything is eaten.
The next part of Hagrid’s mission to lose weight will be the part about exercising. Exercise is extremely important. It not only helps to shed pounds but it also keeps the skin taute so that it doesn’t sag after optimal weight loss has been achieved. So with that in mind, Hagrid will begin doing 2 workouts a day. In the morning he is going to run the entire perimeter of Hogwarts. Then in the evenings, after he has completed his grounds duties, he is going to lift some weights. Thanks to Hagrid’s can do attitude, he will not stop until he has pulled off all of his weight and after that he will continue his new healthy lifestyle because he wants to live a long time.
