Harry Potter and Hermione have been friends for such a long time; but she is still a girl and she should still get his best friend something for valentine’s day. One thing’s for sure, he better not show up with a subscription to the Nutri System diet or he’ll be in big trouble. There are, however, lots of options for a Valentine’s Day gift for girls this year. Of course you have your traditional flowers and candy but now M&M has a great improvement to the traditional candy. You can now personalize your m&ms by putting your girlfriend’s name on one side and a special message on the other. You can also customize the colors so that you only get a bag full of pink and red and white m&ms which reflects the spirit of Valentine’s Day.
Of course there is always jewelry and flowers. Tiffany’s is a great place to find jewelry but be prepared to spend some money. Nevertheless, nobody knows what Harry Potter is going to get Hermione for Valentine’s Day, but one thing is for sure: girl’s do not like anything that links them to being fat, so it better not be a Nutri System subsciption.

Harry Potter has been such an amazing craze since his arrival on the book scene in 1998. Since then, the concept and the books have taken off, literally flying off the shelves, turning Harry Potter into the first pop craze in the book world. There is no denying that Harry Potter is bigger than so many other fads and trends that we’ve seen, from South Beach diets, to pet rocks, and more. And what’s more, unlike those trends and fads, he is here to stay. Harry Potter has changed the book game forever. He has appealed to more than just 12 and 13 year old boys, but has captured the attention of self respecting adults all over the world. The books have been translated into so many different languages, that there really isn’t a soul on the planet that could read the books if he wanted to. It is quite sure that theses books are here to stay and will be around children in future generations to read and enjoy.
There have been a number of additions to the 7 book series that include to smaller and shorter supplemental books. These books have helped to support various charitable organizations that support children in poverty across the globe. Harry Potter, as a result, has moved passed the trends, passed the fads of Sonoma Diets, hopped earrings, bell bottoms, etc… and has secured a place in history that is never to be forgotten. We look forward to what is to come from Harry Potter this 2010. Happy New Year Harry Potter!

This year has been a fun and exciting year. And while we are sad to see it go, we are also happy to see the coming of a new year. Everybody knows that with the coming of 2010, there are going to be plenty of New Year’s Resolutions. So here are a few suggesstions for things you should add to your list of resolutions, if you haven’t already done so: Number 1. Read the Harry Potter series. If you have never read or heard of Harry Potter, then you need to read the series. It’s an awesome book appropriate for ages 12 and up. Even if you are an adult, you will get immense pleasure and enjoyment out of reading these books. They are definitely page turners and will keep you guessing and wondering until the very end. There are 7 books in all, plus two additional books that are supplemental reads after you have read the first 7. Some people like to read them at the gym while on their Reebok Treadmill, and still others enjoy curling up on the sofa with a pot of tea.
Number 2: If you haven’t seen all of the Harry Potter movies, then you must see them. Wait until after you’ve read each book before you’ve seen the corresponding movie. For example, don’t watch the Sorcerer’s Stone if you haven’t yet read the book. So take some time off from your Cardio Twister and get enthralled in Harry Potter. You won’t regret that you did. And hopefully, you’ll begin a whole new year of reading which is great for the mind.

Well it’s Christmas Day all over the world, and all the children all over the world are excited to be opening up their gifts. While we shall never forget the reason for the season (Jesus), no one can deny that the Santa Claus factor gets us all a little excited. There is one person for sure, however, who is waking up this morning to an unhappy and unexpected surpise: that person is Draco Malfoy. He hasn’t been a good boy this year at all and instead of the total gym torture chamber that he asked for from Santa Claus, he got a bag of coal! He was hoping that he would be able to torture Harry Potter in this chamber, given the chance. Instead, however, because of so many mischievous deeds this year, he is got nothing but a bag of coals. This should be a lesson to all boys and girls around the world. It does not pay to misbehave and mistreat people all year long and expect that good things should happen to you.
Draco Malfoy had to find this out the hard way. And not only was there no torture chamber, but the hydroxycut potion that he requested will not be coming to him this year either. So it looks like this year is going to be a sad Christmas for Draco Malfoy. Unlike Harry Potter, who got everything he wanted and then some for his selflessness and courage, Malfoy is going to have to be content with coal! Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!

It’s hard to believe, but would you believe that Dumbledore and Santa Claus actually know each other? Well they do. Dumbledore travels all over the world via those key portals, and he recently ended up at the North Pole on accident. He was trying to get back to England, but must have opened the wrong door. Anyway, he caught Santa and the elves in the middle of their preparations for Christmas Eve which is only a week or so away. In fact, one of the elves was packing up the bag for the mothers that wanted the zone dietthis year. For whatever reason, that one has been one of the most requested items by adult women this season. Anyway, Santa was shocked to see Dumbledore, but happy at the same time. They two practiced magic at the same elementary school at one point, but then went their separate ways after that. That’s right, Santa had to learn some magic too! How else would he know what everybody on Earth wants for Christmas, where they live, how big their chimneys are, and how their behaviour had been all year long?
Dumbledore and Santa sat down for a cup of hot chocolate to catch up and reminisce on old times. But just as soon as they had, they both had to get back to work. Santa had more Bodylastics to make and Dumbledore had to get back to Hogwarts. But for just a moment, two old friends had time for a cup of hot chocolate. This holiday season, make time for an old friend and a cup of your favorite hot beverage. Merry Christmas!

Every year Hermione returns to the world of muggles to visit her family. After all, Hermione was born to muggle parents but was discovered to have extraordinary abilities as a wizard, which she has proven time and time again through the course of her tenure as a student at Hogwarts. So she will return once again to her parent’s home to visit and enjoy Christmas with her muggle family. She will do some Christmas shopping with her mother, which is always interesting. Because Hermione is so accustomed to shopping for wizards, she forgets that muggles typically want different kinds of things for Christmas; things like toys, jewelry, designer clothing, weider home gyms, tickle-me-elmos, barbie dolls, Barbara Streisand CDs, Beyonce DVDs, and more. Usually for Christmas, she ends up buying Harry and Ron new books with magic spells, or new accessories to go with their brooms. When they were younger, they were always satisfied with those specialty sweets that they’d buy from Hogsmead, or practical jokes that they’d also get from Hogsmead but it just seems that their taste becomes more mature as they age.
Hermione is really excited about vacationing with her family for the holiday. She gets plenty of time to catch up with her family, something she rather enjoys doing. She also watches laughingly as her mom shows her how to use different pieces of workout equipment. This year her mom bought an Ab Lounge Ultra Sport. Hermione things that her mother looks hilarious trying to use it, but her mother swears by its results!

Every year, the students at Hogwarts take several trips to the local town of Hogsmeade, where all sorts of interesting and dangerous people and things can be found. Harry Potter has finally been taken off of the list of people banned from going and he and his friends are going to go and discover all sorts of things in that little town. Ron has his eyes on some butter beer; Hermione has her sights on some ancient book about the history and power of numbers that she thinks will help her in her quest to get an A in her arithmancy class. Harry Potter never really has his sights set on anything before he gets to Hogsmead, but he does always seem to find something to purchase. Dervish and Banges, while they do make tons of repairs, seems to carry some other interesting things as well. The last time they went Hermione stumbled upon some FRS healthy energy drink. Of course Ron and Harry wanted to buy some, but Hermione talked them out of it; she didn’t think it a good a idea.
They also found a great vareity of vitamins that were supposed to help with conjuring different spells. Ron, of course found something called super beta prostate that he wanted to slip into Malfoy’s beverage at dinner time, but Hermione quickly reminded him that you can’ t fight fire with fire. It is better to be nice to people then to show them the same discurteousy that they show to you.

Thanksgiving at Hogwarts is always such an exciting food fest. There is always plenty to eat, not that there isn’t plenty to eat any other time, but the elves in the kitchen seem to work a little harder in the kitchen around Thanksgiving as they always pull out all the stops. There won’t be any empty tummies after the Thanksgiving Day dinners have all been served: tureky, dressing, stuffing, coblers, cranberries, sweet potatos, mashed potatos, gravy, pies and tarts alike will grace the tables of each and every house from the Gryffindors to the Ravenclaws. Even evil old Malfoy won’t miss out on this awesome feast. With so much food go around its amazing that non of the students have an problems with obesity. They all seem to be in pretty good shape; of course it doesn’t hurt that they are all wizards and can get rid of excess weight if they want to. No you won’t catch any Hogwarts pupils doing a daily workout on a Weslo Treadmills in order to lose weight.
You might catch one of them doing an air climber exercise, but it would be purely for laughs and humor. Hagrid does have a rather big surprise this Thanksgiving that is sure to have everyone laughing. He has been raising a giant turkey for Thanksgiving, but instead of chopping him up for the big meal, he’s planning on keeping him as a pet and as a study specimen for his Care of Magical Creatures class, which should be interesting to say the least.

It is no secret that Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy simply do not get along. They are always at each other’s necks although most of the incidents between the two ar instigated by Malfoy himself. This year, Draco Malfoy has decided that he is going to pull the prank of all pranks on Harry Potter, right before the Thanksgiving Day Feast. As always, his hopes are to terrorize, victimize and embarrass the brilliant and courageous Potter, and to get a good laugh at he and his friend Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley if he can. Why not kill three birds with one stone right? Draco’s plan was to transfigure Harry Potter into turkey, very befitting for Thanksgiving right? Well, as Hermione, Ron, and Harry were coming down the hall toward the dining hall, Draco popped out from behind a hidden corner and began to recite a spell with his wand aimed steady. However, he must have had his wand turned the wrong way and his words all wrong because instead of turning Harry into a turkey, he turned himself into a Tony Little Gazelle! It took Professor McGonagall all afternoon to get him back to his original form!
But Malfoy wasn’t finished yet. He still had one more trick up his sleeve. He decided to try and make a death potion for Harry Potter. After all, Potter had just embarrassed him in front of the entire school once again. So Malfoy concocted a potion. He slipped some into Potter’s drink at dinner time and waited. He must have read the instructions wrong again because Potter grew about 30 feet into a giant and nearly crushed Malfoy, except that Professor Dumbledore was there to bring the situation to a hault. Apparatently Malfoy had given Potter some Human Growth Hormone instead of the death potion.

It’s that time of year again. Yes it’s midterms at Hogwarts which means that all the pupils will be studying hard to try and pass all of their exams so that they can be ready for next semester’s new and exciting curriculum. Everyone is getting ready for the big Transfiguration in professor McGonagall’s class. It’s one of the hardest. Last year, one of Malfoy’s followers accidentally transfigured the professor’s favorite pen into slim which she was not too happy about. The entire class laughed about it, but he ended up failing and has to stay back a semester from the rest of his class. Not to mention the points is cost the Slytherin house. Then there’s the Defense Against the Dark Arts midterm that was a bit difficult for Harry a few years back a required to bit of preparation on his part before the midterm so that he could pass it. And pass it he did with flying colors. He successfully got that Bogart back into its hiding position without a doubt. Preparing for these and other midterms requires quite a bit of work, but that’s why student are sure to take their Swanson Vitamins to keep up with their hectic schedules.
Students also are encourage to get a good bit of exercise in at least once a day to keep the body and mind focused, but to also give some relief from charms, potions, and astronomy. So some students have taken to running on their Proform Treadmills. Still others have taken to the skies on their brooms, as a release from their midterms at Hogwarts.
